Our Story
Cita’s dream of sharing the Filipino culture started in 2001 when she opened the doors to her restaurant Manila Food Mart in Lake Forest, California.
The goal is to introduce and provide the community with “Lutong Bahay” (home style cooking) in a “Turo-Turo” serving style, which translates to “Point-Point”. This allows guests to select from a variety of fresh daily rotation of food selection.
Fast forward to today, Manila Food Mart’s legacy is being continued by her children with the same mission of sharing the Filipino culture and traditions for future generations to come.
